Description

1) What it is for:

Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream is an effective topical treatment used to manage inflammatory symptoms of fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, sweat rash, and jock itch.

2) Age Restriction:

This product is suitable for adults and children over the age of 10. It is not recommended for use by children under 10 unless directed by a healthcare professional.

3) How to use:

Apply sparingly to the affected area twice daily (morning and night). Continue to use for at least one week after all signs of infection have cleared to prevent recurrence.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Avoid contact with eyes and other sensitive areas. If symptoms persist after a week of use, discontinue and consult a healthcare professional. Do not use on broken skin or large areas of skin. Not suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.

5) Storage:

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

6) Active Ingredients:

The active ingredients in Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream are miconazole nitrate (2% w/w) and hydrocortisone (1% w/w). Miconazole nitrate is an antifungal which works by destroying the fungus and associated bacteria that cause skin infections. Hydrocortisone is a mild topical steroid which reduces swelling, redness, and itching.
