Clotrimazole 1% w/w Cream

Description

1) What it is for:

Clotrimazole 1% cream is an effective antifungal medication used to treat various fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, and fungal nappy rash.

2) Age Restriction:

This product is suitable for adults and children over the age of 2 years. However, for children under 12 years, it should be used under adult supervision.

3) How to use:

Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area and gently rub it in, usually twice daily (morning and night) or as directed by your pharmacist or GP. Continue to use for a week after all symptoms have cleared to prevent them from coming back.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Always read the label before use. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, or other sensitive areas. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Do not use if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any other ingredients in the cream.

5) Storage:

Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and light. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

6) Active Ingredients:

The active ingredient is Clotrimazole (1% w/w). The other ingredients include benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol and purified water.
