Description

1) What it is for:

Clotrimazole pessary is an effective treatment for vaginal thrush (yeast infection). It alleviates the itching, soreness, and discharge that can accompany thrush, providing relief and combating the infection.

2) Age Restriction:

The product is suitable for adult women and girls over 16 years. It is not recommended for use in girls under 16 without medical advice.

3) How to use:

The pessary should be inserted into the vagina at bedtime using the applicator provided. Wash your hands before and after use. It’s a single-dose treatment, but if your symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Do not use if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any other ingredients in the product. Avoid contact with eyes and do not take orally. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying for a baby, consult your doctor or midwife before use. If symptoms persist after treatment, seek medical advice.

5) Storage:

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

6) Active Ingredients:

Each pessary contains Clotrimazole 500mg. Other ingredients include lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, and hypromellose.
