Description

1) What it is for:

The classic Vicks VapoRub decongestant ointment in a no-mess applicator. Relieves nasal congestion, catarrh, sore throat and cough due to colds — the soothing vapours work for up to 8 hours, helping you breathe more easily, especially at night.

2) Age Restriction:

Suitable for adults and children aged 2 years and over. Do not use on children under 2.

3) How to use:

Apply to the chest, throat and back using the applicator — no need to touch the ointment. Children over 2: apply lightly to chest and back. Repeat as needed, especially at bedtime, and keep clothing loose so the vapours can rise. Always read the label.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Do not swallow. Do not apply to the nostrils, face, eyes, mouth, broken skin or wounds. Do not heat or microwave, and do not add to hot water for children (adults only may use 1–2 teaspoons in hot, not boiling, water as an inhalation). If you have asthma, are pregnant or are breastfeeding, ask your pharmacist first — do not apply to the chest while breastfeeding.

5) Storage:

Store below 25°C, out of sight and reach of children.

6) Active Ingredients:

Levomenthol 2.75% w/w, camphor 5.0% w/w, eucalyptus oil 1.5% w/w and turpentine oil 5.0% w/w.
