Description
1) What it is for:
Otinova Ear Spray relieves the symptoms of otitis externa (swimmer’s ear) — itching, irritation and inflammation of the outer ear canal. Its astringent Burow’s solution has drying, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, helping the ear canal settle. Each 15ml bottle gives around 150 doses.
2) Age Restriction:
Suitable for adults and children aged 5 and over. Children under 5 should only use Otinova under a doctor’s supervision.
3) How to use:
Spray once into the affected ear canal, morning and evening. Do not use continuously for more than 7 days. If there is no significant improvement after 1–3 days, consult your doctor. Always read the label.
4) Hazards and Cautions:
Do not use if the eardrum is perforated or if grommets (drainage tubes) are fitted. A brief stinging sensation on application is common; stop use if significant irritation develops. If pain, discharge or hearing loss develops, seek medical advice.
5) Storage:
Store below 25°C, out of the sight and reach of children.
6) Active Ingredients:
Aluminium acetate, aluminium acetotartrate and acetic acid in water (Burow’s solution, pH 3–4).
