1) What it is for:

This is a form of treatment that works to provide relief for a chesty cough that brings up mucus and phlegm. This medicine contains these three ingredients that help to provide relief:

• Glycerin
• Lemon
• Ipecacuanha

Glycerin acts as a lubricant that helps to relieve a sore throat. Lemon is an ingredient that helps to reduce the effects of a cough. Ipecacuanha works as an expectorant which helps to remove the mucus from the chest, throat, and nose.

2) Age Restriction:

This product is suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 years. It is not recommended for children under 12 years.

3) How to use:

For adults and children over 12 years, take two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) three to four times a day, as required. Do not exceed the stated dose. Always use the measuring spoon provided.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Avoid use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless advised by a healthcare professional. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or worsen. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

5) Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the bottle.
