Canesten 1% Cream – 20g

Description

1) What it is for:

Canesten 1% Cream is a topical antifungal treatment designed to treat fungal skin infections, including ringworm, athlete’s foot, fungal nappy rash, and sweat rash. It can also be used to relieve irritation of the vulva (external thrush) or the end of the penis, which may be associated with thrush.

2) Age Restriction:

This product is suitable for adults and children over the age of 10 years. For children under 10 years, please consult a healthcare professional before use.

3) How to use:

Apply the cream thinly to affected areas 2-3 times a day and rub in gently. Treatment should be continued for up to one week after the disappearance of symptoms to prevent them from coming back.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Do not use Canesten 1% Cream if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth. If symptoms persist despite treatment, seek medical advice. This product may damage latex (rubber) condoms and diaphragms, hence reducing their effectiveness at preventing pregnancy and STIs.

5) Storage:

Store below 25°C. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

6) Active Ingredients:

The active substance in Canesten 1% Cream is clotrimazole. Clotrimazole kills the fungus causing your symptoms and clears the infection.
