CalCough Children’s Syrup Blackcurrant – 125ml

Description

1) What it is for:

A gentle blackcurrant-flavour syrup from the makers of Calpol that soothes dry, tickly coughs and sore throats in children from 1 year — a simple sugar-and-glycerol demulcent that coats the throat, with no drowsy ingredients.

2) Age Restriction:

Suitable for children aged 1 year and over. Do not give to babies under 1 year.

3) How to use:

Children 1–5 years: one 5ml spoonful; over 5 years: two 5ml spoonfuls. Give 3–4 times in 24 hours as needed; maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Always read the label.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Do not exceed the stated dose. Contains sucrose and glucose — relevant for diabetic children or sugar intolerance. If the cough persists or is accompanied by high fever or breathing difficulty, see your doctor or pharmacist.

5) Storage:

Keep the bottle tightly closed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

6) Active Ingredients:

Glycerol 0.75ml per 5ml in a soothing syrup base.
