Description

1) What it is for:

A children’s cough syrup with marshmallow root extract and honey that forms a protective film over the throat, soothing the urge to cough. Works on any cough — dry or chesty — associated with a cold, from the Bronchostop family.

2) Age Restriction:

Suitable for children from 3 years. Not for children under 3.

3) How to use:

Age 3: 5ml up to 4 times a day; ages 4–5: 7.5ml up to 4 times a day; ages 6–11: 15ml up to 4 times a day. Use the measuring cup provided. Always read the leaflet.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Do not use if the child is allergic to any ingredient, including honey. If the cough persists, worsens, or is accompanied by fever or breathing difficulty, see your doctor. Contains honey — relevant for sugar intake.

5) Storage:

Do not store above 25°C. Keep in the original pack to protect from light and use within 4 weeks of opening. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

6) Active Ingredients:

Not applicable as a licensed medicine — this is a medical device with a demulcent action. Per 15ml: marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) root dry extract 143mg and honey 750mg.
