Description

1) What it is for:

Otovent Refill Balloons are replacement balloons for the Otovent Glue Ear Treatment Kit — the drug-free autoinflation treatment for glue ear (otitis media with effusion). Pack of 5 balloons. Balloons should be replaced every 3 days during a course of treatment, so a refill pack keeps a 2–3 week course going. Requires the nose piece from the Otovent kit.

2) Age Restriction:

For use by adults and children aged 3 and over, always under adult supervision in children.

3) How to use:

Attach a balloon to the nose piece from your Otovent kit. Press the nose piece against one nostril, close the other nostril, and inflate the balloon through the nose, then repeat with the other nostril. Use 2–3 times daily for 2–3 weeks as advised. Replace the balloon with a fresh one every 3 days. Always read the instructions in the kit.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Do not use during a cold or an ear or throat infection. Balloons are not toys — risk of choking; keep away from young children except during supervised treatment. Stop and seek advice if ear pain develops.

5) Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of children.
