1) What it is for:

Nurofen for Children is a strawberry flavoured oral suspension that provides relief from mild to moderate pain and fever in children. It’s effective for symptomatic relief of colds, flu, earaches, headache, dental, and muscular pain.

2) Age Restriction:

This product is suitable for children aged between 3 months (weighing over 5 kg) to 12 years.

3) How to use:

Shake the bottle well before use. Use the provided syringe for accurate dose measurement. For children aged 3-6 months, provide 2.5 ml 3 times in a 24-hour period. For children aged 6-12 months, it’s 2.5 ml 3 to 4 times in a 24-hour period. For 1-3 years, it’s 5 ml 3 times, and for 4-6 years, it’s 7.5 ml 3 times. Children aged 7-9 years can take 10 ml 3 times, and those aged 10-12 years can take 15 ml 3 times in a 24-hour period. Never exceed the stated dose.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Not suitable for children under 3 months or weighing less than 5 kg. Avoid use if your child is allergic to ibuprofen or any other ingredient of this product. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days of use. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

5) Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

6) Active Ingredients:

Each 5 ml of oral suspension contains 100 mg of ibuprofen. Other ingredients include citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium chloride, saccharin sodium, strawberry flavour, and purified water.
