Canesten Combi Pessary and External Cream

Description

1) What it is for:

Canesten Combi Pessary & External Cream is a complete treatment for vaginal thrush, providing both internal and external relief from symptoms. The pessary targets the internal cause of the infection, while the external cream alleviates itching and soreness.

2) Age Restriction:

This product is suitable for adults and children aged 16 and over. It is not recommended for use in children under 16, unless prescribed by a doctor.

3) How to use:

The pessary should be inserted into the vagina using the applicator provided, preferably at bedtime for convenience and comfort. The external cream should be thinly applied to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily, and rubbed in gently.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, attempting to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, consult your doctor.

5) Storage:

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, out of sight and reach of children.

6) Active Ingredients:

The active ingredients are clotrimazole (pessary contains 500mg and cream contains 2% w/w). Other ingredients include lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.
