Calpol Six Plus Orange Oral Suspension – 200ml

Description

1) What it is for:

Calpol Six Plus Oral Suspension is a paracetamol-based medicine designed to relieve pain and reduce fever (antipyretic) in children. It is effective in treating mild to moderate pain and symptoms of cold and flu, such as headache, sore throat, toothache, earache, and post-immunisation fever.

2) Age Restriction:

This product is suitable for children aged six years and above, and adults. It is not recommended for children below six years of age.

3) How to use:

For oral use only. Shake the bottle thoroughly for at least 10 seconds before use. The child should take this medication with or after meals. The recommended dose for children aged 6-12 years is 5-10ml of suspension every 4-6 hours, not exceeding more than 4 doses in 24 hours. For adults and children over 12 years, the recommended dose is 10-20ml of suspension every 4-6 hours, not exceeding more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Do not exceed the stated dose. Paracetamol overdose may cause liver failure which can lead to fatal outcome. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Contains paracetamol, do not use with any other paracetamol-containing products. If an allergic reaction occurs, stop use and get medical help right away.

5) Storage:

Store below 25°C and out of sight and reach of children. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Discard any unused product 2 months after first opening the bottle.

6) Active Ingredients:

Each 5ml of Calpol Six Plus Oral Suspension contains 250mg of paracetamol. Other ingredients include: Maltitol Liquid, E420, Sorbitol Solution 70%, E420, Glycerol, E422, etc. Always read the label.
