Description
1) What it is for:
Levonorgestrel is a medicine used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse or failure of a contraceptive method. It is more effective the sooner it is taken, ideally within 12 hours and no later than 72 hours after unprotected intercourse.
2) Age Restriction:
This product is suitable for women aged 16 years and over. It is not recommended for those under 16 without medical advice.
3) How to use:
Take one tablet orally as soon as possible, but no later than 72 hours after unprotected intercourse. It can be taken with or without food. If you vomit within two hours of taking the tablet, you should contact your pharmacist or doctor as you may need to take another tablet.
4) Hazards and Cautions:
Levonorgestrel should not be used as a regular form of contraception. It will not prevent pregnancy if you have unprotected sex again after taking it. It is not effective once the process of implantation has begun. It does not cause a termination of pregnancy. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have any medical condition or are taking any other medication.
5) Storage:
Store this product in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
