Description
1) What it is for:
The Ezinelle 1.5mg Tablet is designed as an emergency hormonal contraceptive, commonly referred to as the ‘morning after pill’. It is intended to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or if your regular contraceptive method has failed.
2) Age Restriction:
This product is suitable for women aged 16 years and over. It is not recommended for use in girls under 16 years of age.
3) How to use:
Take one tablet orally as soon as possible, but no later than 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. The sooner the tablet is taken, the more effective it will be.
4) Hazards and Cautions:
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, if you are pregnant, or if you have a severe liver disease. Some side effects may include nausea, abdominal pain, or changes in your period. If your next period is more than 7 days late, you may be pregnant and should consult a healthcare provider.
5) Storage:
Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
6) Active Ingredients:
The active ingredient is Levonorgestrel 1.5mg. It works by stopping your ovaries from releasing an egg and by preventing sperm from fertilising any egg that may have already been released.
Remember, Ezinelle should not be used as a regular form of contraception. It is only intended for emergency use. If needed frequently, please consult a healthcare professional for advice on regular contraception.
