Description

1) What it is for:

Canesten 500mg Pessary is an effective single dose treatment for vaginal thrush or candidiasis. It is a vaginal tablet that serves to eradicate the yeast infections at the source, providing quick and reliable relief from the discomforting symptoms.

2) Age Restriction:

This product is intended for use in adults, adolescents, and elderly. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

3) How to use:

The pessary should be inserted as high as possible into the vagina with the help of the applicator provided, preferably before going to bed at night for convenient and uninterrupted treatment.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Do not use if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any other ingredients in the pessary. Avoid sexual intercourse while you have thrush and during treatment because your partner could become infected. Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

5) Storage:

Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store below 25°C in a dry place. Do not use this pessary after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after EXP.

6) Active Ingredients:

The active substance in Canesten 500mg Pessary is clotrimazole. Each pessary contains 500mg clotrimazole.
