Description

1) What it is for:

Canesten 200mg Pessaries are an effective treatment for vaginal thrush, providing relief from the itching and discomfort associated with this condition.

2) Age Restriction:

This product is suitable for women aged 16 to 60. Not suitable for use by men or by women under 16 or over 60, unless directed by a GP.

3) How to use:

Insert one pessary deeply into the vagina at bedtime for three consecutive nights using the applicator provided. It is best to lie on your back with your knees bent.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Do not use Canesten 200mg Pessaries if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without speaking to your GP first. If symptoms persist after the 3 day treatment, consult your GP. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth.

5) Storage:

Store below 25°C. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

6) Active Ingredients:

Each pessary contains 200mg of the active ingredient clotrimazole. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which treats the root cause of vaginal thrush by eradicating the yeast that causes the infection.
