Description

1) What it is for:

Aciclovir 5% Cream is a topical treatment primarily used to combat cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus. It works by stopping the spread of the virus, thereby aiding in the healing process and preventing the sores from worsening.

2) Age Restriction:

This product is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and above. It is not recommended for children under 12, unless directed by a healthcare professional.

3) How to use:

Apply a thin layer of the cream onto the affected area five times a day, approximately every four hours, for five days. If symptoms persist beyond this point, consult with a healthcare professional.

4) Hazards and Cautions:

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If irritation or adverse reaction occurs, cease use and consult a healthcare professional. Do not use if you are allergic to aciclovir or any of the other ingredients in this product. Do not use this product to treat genital herpes or other skin infections.

5) Storage:

Store the cream at room temperature, between 15-25 degrees Celsius, and keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

6) Active Ingredients:

The active ingredient in this product is Aciclovir (5% w/w). The cream also contains propylene glycol, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, and purified water.
